LOL...I bet it would be a great story! When are you coming back to visit, Sheryl? The weather has been gorgeous here, in the 70s and sunny today. :)

The donkey story could turn out more fascinating than the lizard story. :)

Well, I have read better papers, but I really enjoy reading the Democrat. I find lots of interesting stories, and of course I always check my sources no matter what I read or see. I like to get my information, like Chris, from 3 or 4 different sources then form my own opinion.

LOL @ mullet wrapper. Ive never heard of it called that. I think 90% of the news media want us to feel bad about the world around us. But I try to look at the bright side of things, and I prefer to get my news from at least 3-4 sources before i decide my opinion. Mainly I read the mullet wrapper for the comics and editorial. but lately its been the comics only

The democrap is the worst paper ever. I would not even wrap a mullet in that paper because it might spoil the fish. I think Preston Scott is one of the best radio people. I listen to his show just about every morning.

Hey Ron, yeah, I agree about your news sources, which is where I get most of my information, but Nancy Dignon is the best in conveying information about the tropical storm and hurricane season, especially as it relates to our area. I watch the entire news because of her!

I can't remember the last time I watched local TV news...
I read the Mullet Wrapper every day, listen to NPR news on the morning & evening drive times, and of course, The Daily Show.
And PTI every day for my sports news.

Chris, what good is the news when they are reporting information that is a day or two old? Might as well read the newspaper instead of watching TV news (which I agree is better and more in depth anyway, but the whole point of elecronic media is the immediacy and current information).

Ron, why don't you start a separate thread on gaming? That way you might attract other posters like the pinball machine person interested in gaming.

Nelson,
Back to gaming: My favorite site: http://www.dailysudoku.co.uk/sudoku/index.shtml
I tried to get Donna interested but she's just too busy...
I like to print them out (large size) and go to it with a pencil. Even the Democrat's "hard" puzzle on Sunday only rates a "medium" difficulty from this web site when you enter it.

Jeff, Flying J was already at $1.99. Yesterday and the day before they were at $2.01.
It's WTXL that isn't getting the message.

Ah, you gamer addicts!
BTW, back to the topic, have you guys noticed that WTXL is reporting the wrong prices again? Tonight they said that the lowest price had slipped above $2 per gallon when there are 8 stations currently listed below $2. They also said the lowest price in town was the Flying J at $2.03 per gallon when not only is the Flying J not the cheapest place in town, but it has also had 2 price drops since $2.03!

Sheryl - the "noble" Keith (the one you got a picture of) was named after an old girlfriend's father. Funny though you said "witch" - Keith apparently has an evil twin (at work we call him the evil Keith, or the anti-Keith). Watch out coffee drinkers!

I was in Lynchburg last week (passing through). And speaking of cures, remeber the lizard story..."Keith" was named after a doctor. Even looks "noble" in the close up shot.
